Step 6:
Select the device type you will be connecting to the app. Since all Zencam cameras are WiFi based units, select "WiFi Camera" from the list.

Step 9:
Once the serial number for device has been entered in, you will then be prompted to give your camera a name. This name can be unique to your camera and can be named anything you wish. NOTE: You must be within the WiFi range of the network to connect your device.
The device will then begin establishing a connection to your Wireless Network. After a few minutes, the words "Camera Successfully Connected" will appear when the connection can be established. Begin viewing your camera by tapping on "Start Live Preview".
Note: If you are having issues connecting, please verify the LED light on the front of the device is solid green. If the LED is solid green it indicates the camera has been added successfully. A flashing green LED indicates that the camera might be having troubles connecting to your WiFi network.
Step 11:
The app will then prompt you to change the password for your device. Enter a password within the maximum 32 characters in length. After you have entered your new password for your device, please click on "Start Live View" to view the Live View screen.
The live stream from your camera will be presented in the Live View screen.
Troubleshooting the Network Connection
If your camera is not connecting to your wireless network using Amcrest View Pro, we recommend checking and performing the following:
Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network. The ProHD and HDseries cameras are equipped with a WiFi module that currently only supports 2.4GHz wireless networks. If your router uses a 5GHz network, it may be inaccessible as the camera can only establish a connection with a 2.4GHz network broadcast.
If you have the ability to broadcast separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks on your router, you can connect to the 2.4GHz network to complete the camera’s WiFi Configuration.
If you are confident your router is 2.4GHz, and still receive errors with during WiFi Configuration setup, fully reboot your camera by unplugging the power, waiting approximately 10 seconds, then plugging the power back into the camera. Once the camera fully reboots, try setting up the camera again using this method.
